Workshop / Display Room Part 2

Pretty well got the room completed. Still, have to hang a few shelves on a couple walls but the room turned out better then what I thought it would. Couple other things I need to do is cut the hole out for the Paint booth and add a couple tracks for programing the locomotives.

My girl calls the short doorway the Hobbit door.

Workshop / Display Room Part 1

Well after a few weeks of planning and getting the material together the workshop got started. At first, it was only going to be 9'x12' but once more accurate measurements were taken it ended up being 9'x16". I will say the wife was very understanding. The doorway leading from the layout room to the workshop is only 55" high. I did this because I have a large section of switches and the scenery done on the upper level of the layout that I didn't want to mess with. Turned out better then what I thought it would. I also added a door going outside on a porch.

Work bench

Had a few people ask about my work Bench. Where I build most of my models. It isn't much but it get the job done. It is located on the back side of the peninsula below the unloading docks at the steel mill.
