Diesel Shops and Turntable Part 6

I didn't much care for the molded yellow on the Bachman sanding rack. The rack went to the paint booth. Gave it a coat of primer and a coat of safety yellow. Looks better than the mold yellow. Going to change out the cage ladders too. the ones Bachmann sent with the kit just don't look right.

 

Dynamometer Cars Part 1

With the new and used equipment, KV&O has been buying they need for a dynamometer car. After discussing the project with a few people the shops began building dynamometer car KVO 994302. At the time of the build, it was fitted with the latest technology used to measure diesel and steam locomotives.

KV&O FA2 & FB2

A few years back I purchased a set of A-B-A Proto 2000 units that I planned on painting for the KV&O. I had primed and painted the main colors of the locos but found out the guy who I originally got to do my decals had printer issues and stopped making decals. Fast forward to March 2016 I meet a guy on Facebook who helped me make my decals and he printed them out for me for a very reasonable price, and the result was better than I thought they would be.
